NOMA Focusing On Forestry

The President of the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association is continuing to focus on forestry.
Dave Canfield was in Thunder Bay this week for a “town hall” style discussion on the industry.
Canfield says sustainability was at the forefront as it’s the number one priority for municipalities.
He notes concerns were raised about wood supply in the region.
Canfield says special interest groups are making it more difficult to secure wood supplies.
