NOMA Joins ELA Fight

Members of the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association say they are troubled by the decision to close the Experimental Lakes Area near Dryden.
In a letter to Stephen Harper, NOMA President Ron Nelson implores the Prime Minister to continue funding the ELA and to help find alternative partners to ensure research there continues.
Nelson says the nearly 40-municipalities in the organization are troubled by the plan.
