The Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association has its eyes set on infrastructure dollars.
NOMA Vice President Iain Angus says looking to the new year, they’re seeking provincial and federal funding for infrastructure programs here in the region, as he says every community has an infrastructure deficit.
Angus says they’re preparing to bring their ask to the Ontario Good Roads conference in February, where they’ll meet with provincial ministers.
Meanwhile, he says NOMA’s work on the energy file, and their ongoing battle with non-governmental organizations are definitely highlights for 2015. (File photo)
