NOMA Pleased With Election Results

The Head of the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association hopes that the future of Economic Agencies will be stabilized after it became a Federal Election issue.
Dennis Brown says having Joe Comuzzi, the Minister responsible for FedNor, back on Parliament Hill should benefit local communities.
Brown is also pleased that former Mayor’s Roger Valley in Dryden and Thunder Bay’s Ken Boshcoff were elected because they understand the importance of infrastructure and the need for more funding.
Brown says NOMA will lobby the Feds to include them in gas tax funding.
