NOMA President Concerned Over Bill 83

Proposed Ontario legislation is causing concern in forest industry communities.
The Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association is worried Bill 83 will allow environmental groups to slander the industry without consequences limiting lawsuits over public expression.
NOMA President Dave Canfield says organizations like Greenpeace have said terrible unfounded things about the industry.
He adds the legislation targets northern families by jeopardizing their economies.
