NOMA Won’t Sit Idle

The President of the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association Dave Canfield is weighing in on the reduction of Greyhound bus service in the region.
He says bus service is notal to region as many residents rely on the mode of transportation to and from medical appointments in Thnder Bay.
Since Greyhound announced a reduction of 2 busses through the region everyday, Canfield notes regional leaders have begun discussing the matter ahead of next week’s NOMA board meeting in Thunder Bay.
One idea being tossed about is welcoming a new provider to the region to fill the gaps in service.
