Now that the Northern Ontario Party is out with its platform for the next provincial election, the work is underway to attract potential candidates.
Leader Trevor Holliday says he is looking for a specific skill-set.
Holliday says he wants individuals who represent the “working class” that live and breath the north.
He doesn’t want a “cookie cutter” politician to represent the fledgling party in 2018 vote.
After securing some candidates in northeastern and even southern Ontario, Holliday has suggested that he now has his eye on the northwest region.
You can hear more from Trevor Holliday Sunday morning on Northwest Monitor following the 9:00am News on CKDR.net
