The City of Dryden was the big winner after the now-defunct Northwest Ontario Recycle Association sold off some of its old equipment this week.
Dryden bought the recycling plant equipment for 32-thousand dollars and a recycling truck for four thousand dollars.
Fort Frances and Kenora were among the other municipalities expressing interest in the equipment.
Meantime, most communities in the region are into week number two with no recycling service.
Former NORA Chair Mel Fisher is asking all municipalities to come together and find a solution to recent recycling problems.
