Noront Resources is moving forward on its development in the Ring of Fire in northern Ontario.
The company says they have been consulting the public, the mining industry and the government on their plans for the Eagles Nest project.
President Alan Coutts says the draft version of their Environmental Assessment report should be complete by mid December and it will be released a few months after that.
Coutts notes it’s a lengthy and painstaking process but everyone wants to ensure that the project is done right.
Glenn Nolan is the Vice-President of Aboriginal Affairs and says talks have been going well with area First Nations as well.
Nolan says aboriginal leaders have inquired about what job and training opportunities will be available.
