North could losing federal riding

If the Federal Commission on Electoral Boundaries has its way, northwestern Ontario could lose another riding by 2014.

The commission is looking at increasing the number of ridings across the country to take into account the change in population.

But Kenora M.P. Roger Valley says thats not good news for
this part of Ontario.

N003 Q: …riding. (20 secs.)

Valley says he has already spoken out against the changes
and suggests the Commission has to take into account the size of a riding as well as the population.
