Nishinawbe Aski Nation Grand Chief Stan Beardy is
attending a meeting of the North-South Partnership for
Children in Remote first nation communities.
New Osnaburg and Webequie First Nations took part in
assesments by the group, which will provide
recommendations for community priorities, next steps, and
voluntary sector support.
The North South Partnership is a collaboration between
First Nation communities in the North and Southern Ontario
Volunteer organizations.
The conference starts today in Toronto.
