North-South Report #2

Quick action is needed to help children and families

living in Northern Ontario First Nations.

The North-South Partnership report suggests living

conditions on First Nation Communities are comparible to

third world countries.

Webequie Chief Scott Jacobs says the report has given

hope to many young people in the community.

First Nations.

The report calls for new housing projects, suicide

awareness programs, and the development of tourism and

craft industries.
