North Star Air is expanding services in this region.
The airline says three additional flex flights and routes will be added to its network, starting on December 1st.
The new routes will connect a number of First Nations with Red Lake, Sioux Lookout and Thunder Bay.
The company says the expansion will include charter, passenger and cargo service and will give customers and residents more options.
New routes: #1 Connect Deer Lake, Poplar Hill and North Spirit Lake to Sioux Lookout and Thunder Bay
#2 Connect Landsdowne, Summer Beaver and Webequie with Thunder Bay
#3 Connect North Spirit Lake to Red Lake, Deer Lake, Poplar Hill and Pikangikum
