The Sioux Lookout Flyers opened a 3-game series with the Thunder Bay North Stars with a 5-1 loss Wednesday night at the Fort William Gardens.
It was a strong start for the Flyers, as Jacob Brown opened the scoring 9-minutes into the contest.
However, Thunder Bay quickly responded with 5-unanswered goals.
Jayme Brattinger faced 33-shots against his former team and was tagged for the loss.
The scene now shifts to Sioux Lookout with a pair of games Friday and Saturday.
