Thunder Bay bounced back from a 2-0 deficit and defeated the Dryden GM Ice Dogs 3-2 Sunday.
Troy Sherman took advantage of a defensive mistake late in the third to score the game winner.
Trevor Kavanaugh and Kris Hamlin scored the Dryden GM goals.
The Ice Dogs outshot Thunder Bay 40-38.
Game 3 is Tuesday night in Thunder Bay.
