North Stars Fall Short.

The Fort William North Stars couldn’t take the last step falling 2-1 to the Southern Ontario champion Oakville Blades at the Dudley Hewitt Cup in Sault Ste. Marie. The Stars tied the game midway through the second but Oakville scored 5:24 into the third and held off the Stars to punch their ticket to the Royal Bank Cup in Dauphin, Manitoba.
