The Thunder Bay North Stars have taken the first two games of the exhibition Teleco Cup in the Superior International Junior Hockey League.
The North Stars defeated the expansion Kam River Fighting Walleye 4-2 and 5-4 over the weekend.
Game 3 of the nine game series is November 13.
