Northern Development Minister Backs Eves

Northern Development Minister Dan Newman is backing Ernie Eves in the Tory leadership race.
And Newman is encouraging card-carrying Tories to do the same this Saturday.
He says Eves is the best choice for the North because of his previous record as finance minister.
Newman says Eves is credited for doubling funding for the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund and he has also recognized that both Sudbury and Thunder Bay need equal campuses of the Northern Medical School.
