The Ontario Government kick-started the Northern Growth Plan’s roundtable technical discussions with a session on Health Care Friday.
Minister of Energy and Infrastructure George Smitherman chaired the meeting, which is the first of 10 sessions that will be held across the North between now and the end of January.
Minister of Northern Development Michael Gravelle says health care is a key economic factor.
The next roundtable discussion will be held in Sault Ste. Marie and will focus on transportation and alternative energy.
Gravelle says the information collected over the consultation period will be used in the final document.
