The Highway from Thunder Bay to Nipigon will see some major construction over the next few years.
The Provincial Government has announced 3-new projects to four lane portions of the Highway.
Northern Development Minister Michael Gravelle says the total price tag of the investment is 770-million dollars.
The work includes the 4-laning of the Nipigon Bridge and another 12 kilometers from Red Rock and Nipigon as well as 4-laning 13 kilometers from Highway 527 to west of MacKenzie station road.
Gravelle says this is an unprecedented commitment for Highways in the North.
The funding was announced yesterday.
