With oil peaking over 100-dollars a barrel, a Northern Ontario MP is
calling for a plan to help residents cut heating costs.
Speaking in the House of Commons, NDP representative Charlie Angus says
the Government has no strategy to stop the gouging of consumers.
Angus says its time for the government to start exploring alternative
fuels like wood pellets.
He notes that some people in this region are paying $900 a
month to heat their home.
