Northern MP Preparing For Federal Election

Thunder Bay-Rainy River MP John Rafferty says nothing on Parliament Hill surprises him anymore.
Rafferty is reacting to the decision by Mississauga-Brampton South MP Eve Adams leaving the Conservatives to join the Liberal Party.
The NDP member says the Liberals will take anybody and the Conservatives are probably happy to be done with her.
Rafferty expects to see more movement before the October Federal Election.
He adds the idea of former Ontario NDP leader Howard Hampton is considering running in Kenora excites him.
Rafferty is expected to run against the Conservatives Maureen Comuzzi-Stehmann and the Liberals have yet to nominate their candidate.
The green’s have gone with Christie Radbourne.
