Northern Organizations Get Trillium Funding

Sixteen not-for-profit organizations in Northwestern Ontario are getting Ontario Trillium funding.
Most of the organizations are in the Thunder Bay-Rainy River District.
Beaten Path Nordic Trails is getting nearly $15,000 to help maintain cross country ski trails in the Atikokan-Quetico area.
Hospice Northwest is getting roughly $32,000 to enhance palliative care services in the region.
The Rainy Lake Nordic Ski Club is welcoming nearly $26,000 to purchase snowshoes and trail grooming equipment.
Roots To Harvest is accepting some $145,000 to expand agricultural initiatives in Northwestern Ontario.
