Northerners Not Eating Healthy

The Heart and Stroke Foundation has released its 2006 report on
Canadian baby boomers and their health.
Dr. Greg Ross is the Associate Dean of Research for the Northern
Ontario School of Medicine and says 60% of Northern baby boomers are
overweight and 25% are obese
Ross says all 3-levels of government need to work with health
organizations to combat obesity.
The Foundation is recommending Northerners to eat healthier and use
their vehicle only when necessary.
