Northwestern Ontario Crimestoppers is looking at the possibility of expanding into the United States.
Law Enforcement Officials from International Falls, Minnesota are in preliminary talks to include the U.S. Town by this Fall.
OPP Detective-Constable Gary Potter says there is an interest on both sides.
Potter says he was surprised to learn there was no Crimestoppers program in the U.S. border town.
He adds they will establish a working group in the Falls and take things one step at a time.
Potter says there is the possibility of expanding even further into the States.
