The provincial government is showing off its “Open for Business” tourism signs now up in northwestern Ontario.
The new signs are positioned at the Ontario-Manitoba boundary and the Rainy River-Baudette, Minnesota border.
Kenora MP Greg Rickford made the unveiling Friday.
He says the government is sending a clear message to the world that the province is business-friendly.
Rickford says they are working hard to create good jobs and grow the economy of this region.
The Minister of Northern Development and Mines also announced $150,000 to help entrepreneurs in the Kenora district find investors who can help start up their operations.
The money will flow through the Northern Ontario Angels.
