A regional battle in the Stanley Cup Final!
Jon Gustafson, who played high school hockey for the Fort Frances Muskies in the mid ’80’s, is a team vice-president with the San Jose Sharks.
He is responsible for ice facilities, merchandising and the AHL farm club.
Gustafson says it’s an exciting time for him and the San Jose area as its their first taste of Stanley Cup action in the 25-year history of the club.
On the other side, Thunder Bay’s Matt Murray has led the Pittsburgh Penguins into the championship with an unexpected 11-4 record in the playoffs.
