The first seasonal outbreak of the Norwalk Virus has been reported in the Rainy River District.
An outbreak in Atikokan has forced officials at the Atikokan General Hospital to close the facility to all visitors – the only exception will be emergencies.
The Atikokan Hospital visitor ban began yesterday and will be in place for the next several days.
The Dryden Hospital also reported a Norwalk Virus outbreak earlier this month.
