Construction will begin soon at the Norwill Industrial Park.
This week council approved a 1.1 million dollar bid from LTL Contracting Limited.
Aspenware, a company that specializes in wooden cutlery, has chosen the Norwill subdivision as the area to construct a 50,000 square foot plant on.
He says the contract does not include curbs and lighting, which will come at a later time.
The current project will involve water-main, sewer-main, and land drainage system extensions. In addition, roadway excavation, sub-drain installation, and granular back-filling are included.
The expenses are covered by funding the city received from the Community Adjustment fund. The funding is part of the Canada’s Economic Action, which will expire in March 2011.
