A split Tuesday night for the Dryden Eagles High School Hockey teams.
The Boys posted a win at the Cochenour Arena, downing the Red Lake Rams 5-2.
The Dryden Girls and Fort Frances Muskies proved it was going to be another competitive year between the two, as the Muskies pulled out a 5-4 victory.
Jess Carter, Darra Zieroth, Lara Teskey and Leah Balla scored for Dryden, while Jacquie Grandmont was outstanding in between the pipes.
Also in Girls hockey, the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints blasted the Beaver Brae Broncos 17-0.
Back on the Boys side, the Queen Elizabeth Warriors upended the Broncos 5-3 and the Muskies beat the Saints 8-0.
