T.A. killed off 9 Warrior powerplays en route to an 8-2 win in game one last night at the Kenora Rec Center.
TJ VanWellegham and Mark Parnell each had two goals and an assist to lead the Saints attack while Jake Parnell, Ryan Pearson, John Frost and Colton Kennedy added singles. Shayne Kakegamic and Ryan Waboose replied for Sioux Lookout.
Game two of the series is Sunday afternoon in Sioux Lookout. Game three if needed is back in Kenora on Wednesday.
