NOSM Hosting International Recruitment Session

The Northern Ontario School of Medicine is playing host to medical delegates from Northern Europe today.
Dean Dr. Roger Strasser says it’s part of an international recruitment conference that aims to share best practices between Canada and Europe.
Delegates from Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Scotland and Northern Ireland will share what they’re doing to attract health care professionals and will also hear about what NOSM has done to attract physicians to rural communities.
Strasser says the Thunder Bay school has expertise and experience in recruitment, retention, education and training.
