The Northern Ontario School of Medicine are still accepting help from agencies who want to support their Summer Studentship Program.
The school will be accepting agency application forms until January 1st.
Assistant Dean of Research Dr. David Maclean says the program is very beneficial for 1st and 2nd year learners where they will work on a first-hand basis with faculty.
Maclean also says the program is important since it helps students learn about the medical field with an in-depth and regional focus.
Student applications will be due in mid-February and will be selected by mid-March.
