NOSM Researchers Receive Big Boost

Northern Ontario School of Medicine researchers are receiving $100,000.
The grant that was given by Pfizer is helping researchers find a strategy to prevent severe infections in First Nations suffering from chronic kidney disease.
The researchers say these infections are found three to five times more often in aboriginal people in comparison to the general population.
