Bruce Montague’s Constitutional Challenge of Canada’s
Firearms Act is in its fourth day.
The Defence’s two possible expert witnesses are still
dominating discussions.
The Crown spent Wednesday afternoon arguing that the
President of the National Firearms Association should not
be deemed an expert in this case.
The judge has mentioned David Tomlinson would serve a
purpose, since he is familiar with the Gun Registry system.
A decision is expected sometime this week as to whether
or not Tomlinson, and Proffessor Gary Mausler will be able
to testify.
Court will resume in Kenora at 10am today.
