Some 2,000 firefighters battling 114-forest fires in Northwestern Ontario are getting additional help.
Nova Scotia is sending 21-firefighters today (Thursday) for a two week deployment.
Local crews already have support from B.C., Yukon, Saskatchewan, Alberta, New Brunswick, Quebec, Manitoba, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
Nova Scotia has had a relatively quiet fire season so far this year.
