Forget a nuisance bear problem, nuisance deer reports have become the
norm in the Dryden area this Fall.
The City and Ministry of Natural Resources have fielded numerous calls
from frustrated homeowners sick and tired of having their gardens destroyed
by deer.
MNR Area Supervisor Matthew Benson says the animals are here to stay
until we get a really frosty winter.
n064 runs: 17 sec. out…the numbers.
Benson notes there’s no practical, cost-efficent way to keep deer away,
but notes he’s always looking for effective practises from land owners.
