Recent rain is allowing Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry fire crews to make some headway on forest fires burning across northwestern Ontario.
For the second day in a row, there were no new blazes reported in the region.
As a result, officials say four fires were able to be declared out on Tuesday.
That brings the number of wild fires burning down to just 33.
Only one is still listed as not under control, while 29 are still under observation.
