Numbers Are In From Long Weekend

Ontario Provincial Police in the Northwest Region laid 7 distracted driving charges, 813 speeding tickets, 53 seatbelt charges and 11 for impaired driving.
There were no deaths reported, however in other regions two people died in vehicle collisions and two were killed in separate marine incidents.
OPP continue to remind people that these types of incidents are almost always preventable.
