The Provincial Government has decided to fund the 4-year nursing
program that will start this September in Dryden, Sioux lookout, Kenora
and Fort Frances.
Although the funding amount is not known, $3.4-million was still needed.
Dryden Regional Health Spokesperson Darlene Furlong says they have
received confirmation the pilot project is a go and she explains what
officials have to do next.
n065 runs: 19 sec. out…be successful.
Furlong notes Dryden residents Liz Norman and Sid Wintle were
instrumental in landing the course.
