Northwestern Ontario residents have better access to family doctors than they did in 2009.
That’s the message from the Northwest Local Health Integration Network.
CEO Laura Kokocinski says 86% of our population had a doctor in 2009.
She says the LHIN has implemented a number of initiatives to improve access to care including expanding Family Health Teams.
