NWHU Blind-Low Vision Program #1

The Northwestern Health Unit is offering a new program

for kids who have visual impairments.

The Provincial government is funding 100 percent of the

blind-low vision program in the northwest region.

Program Manager Donna Cutler says a family support

worker will help parents understand and cope with their

child’s diagnosis.

The program also offers an early childhood vision loss

consultant, who will help parents nurture their child’s

health and wellness.
