The Northwestern Health Unit would like to form more
partnerships with area first nations.
Medical Officer of Health Dr. Pete Sarsfield says they
provide a number of services on reserve, but notes it’s
still not enough.

The health unit’s board recently requested a detailed
list of services offered on reserve.
The NWHU provides rabies vaccine, food safety courses,
oral health care initiatives, as well as other health
promotions.
