A chance for Ignace residents to learn more about the work being done by the Nuclear Waste Management Organization.
A Community Open House will be taking place on Thursday at the Learn More Centre from 10am to 7pm and there will be a free lunch and barbecue.
Regional Communications Manager Petronilla Ndebele says there will be fun for the family too with activities for a wide range of ages to enjoy.
They will also be showing off their Mobile Learn More Centre as well which Ndebele describes as a “one-stop-shop” for learning about Canada’s plan to safely manage used nuclear fuel and for hearing more about the latest developments in the Ignace area.
