NWMO Hosting Open House in Ear Falls

Ear Falls residents are being briefed this week on whether the Town is a suitable location for an underground nuclear repository.
Nuclear Waste Management Organization Spokesperson Michael Krizanc says there’s nothing that would exclude Ear Falls from further consideration.
Krizanc says its now up to the Municipality to decide if it want’s to proceed with a feasibility study.
An Open House is being held today (Wednesday) and Thursday at the Ear Falls Legion until 8:30 each night.
Krizanc says they have 7 staff with the NWMO on hand to answer questions and discuss the project.
