The Nuclear Waste Management Organization has handed the
Ministry of Natural Resources Canada it’s 2004 annual
activities report.
NWMO Spokesperson Mike Krizan says the report highlights
a cross Canada tour on possible future nuclear waste
storage locations.

Krizanc says the tour delivered a strong message,
Canadians want a safe and secure way of storing nuclear
waste.
Possible solutions are storing the waste beneath the
Canadian Shielf, keeping the nuclear waste in warehouses,
or maintaining the status-quo.
