O-HIP Changes

The Provinces new Health Care plan kicks in today meaning eye exams are no longer covered by O-HIP for people between the ages of 20 and 64.
There are other changes as those with vision problems such as diabetes and cataracts will be covered for 2 exams.
Dryden Optometrist Dr. Brian Lockyer says there is still a bit of confusion on the billing process and hints it could be disorganized chaos until some of the grey areas are cleared up.
Under the Health Care plan, physiotherapy and chiropractic services are no longer covered as well.
