O.P.P. release name of men killed in crash

The O.P.P. have released the names of the two people killed in a multiple vehicle crash east of Kenora last week.

One of the people killed was 39 year old Gary Geneau from Nanaimo, British Columbia.

He was the driver of a pick-up truck which had been towing a trailor.

The passenger in the half-ton has been identified as 43 year old Greg Filipowski from Edmonton, Alberta.

Police say Geneau was travelling east when his pick-up collided with a westbound tractor-trailor unit around 3:00 last Thursday morning between Kenora and Vermillion Bay.

A second semi crashed into the first rig, while a third
tractor-trailor unit crashed into a rock cut trying to avoid the accident scene.
