Dryden’s “Centennial Octoberfest” last Saturday night was a roaring success according to event organizers – as well as the 500 or so who attended the sold-out event.
Residents who waited until the last minute to buy tickets were shocked to find out that Octoberfest was sold out – and those who arrived late were shocked to discover a packed hall with few open seats!
Party-goers were treated to a twenty-piece German band, yodeling contests, awards for top costumes and more.
To date, virtually every Centennial Event has been an overwhelming success and there is talk of making several – inclucing Octoberfest – annual events in Dryden.
