OEB Launching Review Of Energy Contracts

Local residents will soon be asked if they need stronger protection when signing retail energy contracts.
New rules governing those energy retailers were established 3-years ago to ensure contract language was clear and consumers could opt out without severe penalties.
The Ontario Energy Board says they have been asked to review the legislation and see if it’s working for consumers.
